Ghadeer Al-Sharabi reveals part of the investigation into his father’s murder case, demands the arrest of the second accused

Journalist Ghadeer Al-Sharabi explained that her father’s killer was Walid Shalaa, and no one else.
She stressed that all the evidence and investigations prove this and the law has made this clear in the indictment.

Journalist Ghadeer said that through investigations carried out at the Criminal Investigation Department and the Public Prosecutor’s Office, it was proven that the second accused, “Elias”, assisted the direct killer, Walid Shalaa, in the commission of the murder of his father, Saif Mahmoud Faraj.

It was revealed that the second defendant, Elias, nicknamed “Al-Harith”, had a criminal record and had committed several crimes.

Ghadeer Saif called for the second accused to be arrested and brought to justice so that he can run his course.

Charge
The Taiz Governorate Appeal Prosecutor’s Office charged Walid Kamel Abdel Raqeeb Muhammad, known as Walid Shalaa, “imprisoned”, and Elias Walid Abdel Rahman Naji, “fugitive from justice”, with direct and premeditated murder and assault on a bloodless soul, the life of the victim, Saif Mahmoud Faraj Farhan, by coming with their automatic weapons in front of the victim’s house located in Shaab Salit in the Al-Masbah neighborhood, with the intention of killing the victim on the basis of an agreement. Previously, they fired several bullets from their weapons at the victim, and one bullet hit him in the upper chest, on the right side, as shown in the forensic report and the photographic technical report, which led to his death.

The prosecution referred the defendants to the Taiz West Magistrate’s Court to judge them for what they were accused of, and requested that he be sentenced to the punishment provided for by Sharia and law, taking into account the trial of the second defendant in accordance with the text of Article (285) of the Penal Code and what follows, as a fugitive from justice, and the confiscation of the weapon seized as an instrument of the crime.
